Daily Nishino Breathing (7min) Open/Close Principle, Senyo, Yushin, and Basic Sokushin Breathing

イメージ
The Open・Close Principle is a rule that guides the body efficiently to Chuyu or its ideal state, in the Nishino Method - Deep Breathing Exercises.  This is easy to understand if you imagine how animals use their bodies when they catch prey. For example, " c lose" is a state in which the body curls up for a moment to store energy just before attacking prey, while "o pen" is a state of releasing stored energy when attacking prey. As another exmple, "close" is a state in which the fetus is relaxing and storing energy in the mother's womb. You close your body while breathing in slowly and capturing yourself. In the meanwhile, you open your body while breathing out slowly and capturing the connection between yourself and your surroundings. When you open your body, spread the energy taken in by the state of Close throughout the body. Then the energy is naturally taken into your body. Now, let's practice Senyo, the exercise in which you can easily un...

Daily Nishino Breathing (4min) Jusoku Methods Part 5:Tagen Jusoku, Multi-element Energy Filling Exercise, and Junyo

イメージ
Daily Nishino Breathing -  Jusoku Methods Part 5 Tagen Jusoku: Multipule-element Energy Filling Tagen refers to all the cells in the body. Tagen Jusoku is a method that fills all cells with energy and capture the self. When one is able to perceive oneself, one is able to perceive one's surroundings correctly. When you practice Tagen Jusoku, your body becomes balanced and free, and you can feel that most of your body is liquid. Then, the whole body become Tanden, and  energy flows out of the body, allowing the body to use its energy. Now, let's practice Tagen Jusoku! We will begin with Yongen Jusoku, Four-element Energy Filling, then proceed to Tagen Jusoku. And then we practice Junyo. Stand shoulder-width apart, parallel, and relax your knees. Fill the four locations of both hands and feet with energy. To the state of Yongen Jusoku With a long, thin breaths out through the mouth, fill the four locations with energy. Spread the energy of the four e...

Daily Nishino Breathing Methods (5 min) Jusoku Methods Part 4: Yongen- jūsoku and Tenyu

イメージ
Yon gen- jūsoku 四 元充足  (four-element energy filling exercise) Yongen refers to the hands and feet. Through this Jusoku method you fill these four elements (locations) with energy and capture the connection between the inside and outside of the body. The hands are said to be the second brain and the feet the second heart, and when the four elements are filled, the blood circulation improves, and the mind becomes clearer. In addition, because the four elements are at the ends of the body, far from the heart, and have a strong connection to the outside of the body, attachment to the inside of the body is eliminated. Then you will be able to feel that the inside of your body is "empty," and you will be able to perceive the connection between the inside and the outside of your body with the four locations. "Emptiness" in this case refers to the state of being able to fill and channel unlimited energy. Now, let us actually perform Yougen Jusoku.  The Basic...

Daily Nishino Breathing (10 min.) Jusoku Methods Part 3 Sangen-jusoku, Karin, and Enten

イメージ
Sangen- jūsoku  三元充足  (three-element filling exercise) The third part of the Jūsoku Methods is the three-element filling exercise. Sangen refers to the Tanden and the both hands, and is the most basic of all the Jūsoku Methods. When starting Sangen-jūsoku, as in the case of, Ichigen- jūsoku, think of the Tanden as a kind of "magma," the great energy within the earth. It is said that the hands are “the second brain”, and when the hands are filled with energy to the fullest extent, you feel a clarity of mind and it is easier to grasp the whole picture of things. When these three elements are fulfilled, you will be able to feel the unlimited energy spreading out from the main energy source of the body. When you fill the three elements with ki-energy, first try to fill them from both hands rather than from the Tanden. This will naturally make it easier to become aware of the Tanden. How to practice Sangen-jūsoku First, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and p...

Daily Nishino Breathing (4 min.) : Jusoku Methods Part 2 and Shinjun Energy Infiltration Practice

イメージ
Nigen- jūsoku 二元充足 (two element filling exercise)   Nigen-jūsoku, like Ichigen-jūsoku, may be practiced standing or sitting on the kneels. Nigen refers to the Tanden and Hyaku-e (top of the head).  First, after having fully performed Ichigen-jūsoku, hold the palm of one hand over the top of the head while keeping the mind focused on the Tanden. At this point, relax your arms and shoulders, and be careful not to arch your back. The hand is a highly sophisticated sensor. They capture every event with a density that far exceeds the sense of touch. They are the very ends of the body, and energy flows in and out from them naturally. The pressure of the atmosphere and the energy of the sky, which is subtly transmitted through the hands, is caught at the top of the head, enriching the two elements (the Tanden and Hyaku-e). The key point is how to smoothly pass the energy from the Hyaku-e. First, you should practice how to relax the top of the head intentionally. When the whol...

Daily Nishino Exercise (4 min.) Jusoku Methods Part 1 Ichigen-jusoku, Muhen and Henyo

イメージ
Daily Nishino Exercise (4 min.) Program: Jūsoku Methods Part 1 : Ichigen- jūsoku, Muhen and Henyo Jūsoku Methods 充足法 Ki filling exercises which sharpen the sensory capabilities of the body “ Jūsoku" means to be satiated with full of energy. You take a certain part of the body and fill it with life energy. You will be able to feel the higher state of the body that is cultivated in the Nishino Method. The life energy cultivated by the breathing fills the body to overflowing, and creates a relaxed Chūyū ( 宙遊: being suspended in the universe), the ideal physical condition, naturally.  Gen  元 In the Nishino Method, the words “concentration” or “point” are avoided. Instead, “filling”( 充足 ) and “element” (元)  are used. Element here contains the meaning, origin and beginning. That is, it is both “the part itself” and “the origin”. To draw awareness to a part of the body means to realize that the part is a component of the whole body, and furthermore, it is an element of the univ...

Messages from Master Kozo Nishino (6) Mu-shin

イメージ
From Headquarters #7 – Messages from Master Kozo Nishino (6) Kozo Nishino   "Mu-shin" In order to bring luck into our life, we need to be in a state of “Mu-shin (innocence)”, or to be selflessness. Mushin is a state of ease and contentment that conforms to the laws of nature. When we cultivate a state of Mu-shin at the cellular level, we are able to enjoy whatever we do, and we are excited about our endeavors. It is said that genius is the talent to work hard, and this talent to work hard means the ability to work hard in an exciting and enjoyable way. It is often said that "what one likes, one will do well".  This is well said. In general, hard work is not as effective as one might think. However, people think with their brains and try their best to "make an effort," but there is a limit to this. When they realize that their efforts are spinning out of control and that no results are forthcoming, they simply become exhausted and lame...

Messages from Master Kozo Nishino (5) What is Taiki?

イメージ
From Headquarters #6 - Messages from Master Kozo Nishino (5) What is Taiki*? Kozo Nishino True freedom can only be obtained by physically sensing your body on a cellular level. Rules and mechanisms are things that are only made up, and if you try to gain freedom within them, you will run into a wall at every turn. Certainly, mechanisms and rules are necessary to form a group called society. Without them, social order cannot be maintained. However, social rules are only created by the greatest common denominator. They are often inconvenient for individual ways of life, which is why people suffer. To get out of this system, you must first act against the wall and feel the resistance. People tend to give up before taking action, thinking, "If I try to live freely, I will run into walls. However, the important thing is how to carve out one's own freedom in the midst of encountering various walls and feeling resistance. Imagine being alone on an isolated islan...

Messages from Master Kozo Nishino (4) The only truth is that we are alive right now

イメージ
From Headquarters #5 - Messages from Master Kozo Nishino (4)   The only truth is that we are alive right now Kozo Nishino The only thing that is clear is that we are alive now. This is the only truth. Everything else is a world of illusions, except for the truth that you are alive and breathe.  When you go into the coffin, you cannot take with you any of the things you have acquired in the world of illusion - your position in the company, your title, your property, your status, your honor, and so on. It is only because you are alive that you can make your illusions bloom. Your life is all that matters. The rest is the various dreams that accompany "life. In other words, the One (self) is everything (the world), and everything is the One. In other words, "life" itself. Dreams do not exist independently of themselves. It is only possible when there is a dreamer. In order for the flower (illusion) to bloom, the root (the truth that you are alive) must be...

Messages from Master Kozo Nishino (3) Methods to Train Breathing - What is “Taiki”?

イメージ
From Headquarters #4 - Messages from Master Kozo Nishino (3) Methods to Train Breathing - What is “Taiki”? Kozo Nishino “Taiki” is the communication of energy that is emanating from the body. Communication, in general, is the transmission of one’s intention. Verbal communication is the communication of what you think and what you want to say through words.  Humans communicate with each other through actions and words. And one more thing, we must not forget that the communication of the energy that human beings possess is taking place naturally.  Intention is a human idea. What precedes thought is human life energy. The exchange of life energy is essential in human communication. We can practice the exchange of the life energy through Taiki. This is the meaning of Taiki.   Humans form various things through verbal communication, creating a rich human life and world. That is how important communication is. Because of its importance, the communication of life ener...

Messages from Master Kozo Nishino (2) The Secrets of Ki

イメージ
From Headquarters #3 - Messages from Master Kozo Nishino (2) The Secrets of Ki Kozo Nishino Ki" is life energy itself. Energy is trivialized when we try to understand it in terms of ideas. It cannot be grasped without mobilizing all the senses of the body. By capturing Ki through sensitivity, and by being filled with Ki, our senses become richer, and a more wonderful world opens up. The joy of being alive now encompasses the joy of "what will happen tomorrow? When we are fixed, we stagnate. Change" creates "joyful moments," and "joyful moments" create "eternity. Eternity" is the middle of enjoyment. There is no goal in the world of Ki. It is always in progress. It is always in progress, but at the same time, it is always joyful and fulfilling. The only truth for human beings is that they are alive at this very moment. And the fact that we are alive at this moment is already "in the past" the next moment....

In weightlessness, people think they are free because there is no resistance, but they are never free to move. Not only that, but if you live in space without gravity for a long period of time, as astronauts do, you lose calcium and your bones become weak. When gravity (a word “jyu-ryoku is written in two Chinese c...
